IN SEASON
In Season is a Winter/Spring contemporary fashion lookbook where the model is posed and styled alongside a structural piece of work that Alysha as the artist has manufactured to act as a background or an interactive piece. The sculptural aspect of designing artistic sets will elaborate on their style as an interdisciplinary artist, meshed with commercial photography practice. Alysha is taking on the role of the photographer, art director, and set designer, when creating a dynamic set for each of the fashion image to take place, pulling together different artistic practices, as well as creating a cohesive, on-going style of previous projects she has created with more fine art, conceptual basis.
CONNECTIONS
Connections is an ongoing project demonstrating the connection between the mental and emotional capacities of an artist merging with the physical. Alysha created physical and tactile works that formulated separately from photographic practice and then interacted with them on camera to create a self portrait series.
ELEMENTS WINDOW INSTALLATION
Elements consists of two installation “window displays”, in which Alysha as the artist collaborates with a fashion designer's nature inspired collection. Integrating two dimensional photographic sculpture she has constructed, she expands photography into a three dimensional realm. The multidimensional artworks employed, include projected video, designed fashion garments and live models, pulling together an engaging and unique visual display.
LANDSCAPES OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS
Landscapes of the Subconscious is a project of personally constructed dream scenarios in a cinematic photo exploration. These images investigate imaginative, dreamlike settings, with exaggerated styling as well as masks, reflections, drapery and other elements. The characters in the images remain anonymous so the viewer can create their own connection to the dream situations. The meaning behind many of the dreams created in this project involve tension or a sense of struggle, illusion and confusion.
TRENDING
Trending maps the broad variety of trends that are in an urban environment. Street styles and trends are ever changing and throughout this photographic exploration Alysha mapped out a diverse variation of modern styles. Taking inspiration from street fashion photography she created images at a high fashion editorial level to over exaggerate trends while Incorporating small elements of everyday acts and backgrounds that contrast high fashion photography,

Forms is an exploration of merging sculptural and photographic mediums as one. As an artist Alysha feels a divide in how they see themself artistically in each different medium. This project explores the ways in which these mediums, and different parts of an artist's practice can come together as one.
